One week closer to Lunar New Year 2020 of the Mouse! Did you like the fun DIY Red Envelope craft? Let us find out more about Shy Shu and Mei Shu this week. They are also here sharing desktop wallpapers with you!
Shy Shu, like his name suggests, is incredibly shy but loves popping out every so often to say Hi! Shy Shu’s name is a romanization of 羞鼠 which literally means “shy mouse.”
Mei Shu is a lovely mouse who loves anything health and inner beauty related. Her name is a romanization of 美鼠 meaning “beautiful mouse.”
Shy Shu and Mei Shu enjoy strolling around together in their favorite mouse park leaving little tokens of their love for passerbys. They want to share their favorite wallpaper together with you.
Shy Shu and Mei Shu have two little ones named Shu Bo and Shu Jo. Their names are a romanization of 鼠寶 (mouse treasure) and 鼠祖 (mouse ancestor). The whole family here wishes you good fortune in the auspicious Year of the Mouse!

The Lunar New Year of the Mouse is fast approaching on January 25, 2020! The mouse (technically it’s the rat, but mouse sounds cuter!) is the first animal of the Chinese zodiac cycle. They are known for being optimistic, industrious, cheerful and diligent. This year’s new additions to our Lunar New Year character lineup are Shy Shu (羞鼠) and Mei Shu (美鼠) !
