{Character Series} Lunar New Year 2024 of the Dragon Wallpapers

We are getting closer to Lunar New Year 2024 of the Dragon!  If you missed last week’s red envelope craft, you can download them here: DIY Red Envelope craft.  The DragonK character design was one of Mint Purple Studio’s OG characters.  To think that twelve years have passed since is quite nostalgic!  Have fun celebrating Lunar New Year 2024 with DragonK and family with the wallpapers below!

DragonK  (籠皇) is an honest, smart and curious dragon. He is always searching for the next source of great knowledge and wisdom!

This greeting says 龍騰虎躍 (lóng téng hǔ yuè), translates to the dragon is energetic and tiger is vigorous. The greeting here wishes that the year of the dragon will be one where the recipient is healthy and vivacious.

DragonQ 龍后 is a beautiful Dragon Queen!  She is senior to DragonK by quite a few years but no one really knows her exact age.  DragonQ is creative, loyal to her friends and protective of her little dragons.

This greeting says 龍飛鳳翔 (lónɡ fēi fènɡ xiánɡ), translates to the dragon flies and phoenix soars. The greeting here wishes that the year of the dragon will be one where the recipient’s luck and blessings soar to new heights.

DragonK and DragonQ met at a fiery barbecue party one hot summer afternoon.  It was love at first sight and since then their relationship has been just as fiery!

This greeting says 龍鳳呈祥 (lóng fèng chéng xiáng), refers to the simultaneous appearance of dragons and phoenixes, a very lucky and auspicious sign. This greeting is usually used to wish couples a blessed marriage or relationship, that it be auspicious.

DragonK and DragonQ have two babies named DragonB 小籠仔 and DragonG 小龍女.  The whole family here wishes you good fortune in the auspicious Year of the Dragon!

This greeting says 祥龍瑞氣 (xiáng lóng ruì qì) and wishes the recipient renewed and positive energy for the new year.
