Niu Lang 牛郎, like his name suggests, is incredibly an incredibly devoted, disciplined and diligent gentleman!  Niu Lang’s name is a romanization of 牛郎 which literally means “ox gentleman.”

This greeting says 金牛迎春 and is welcoming the oncoming of Spring.

Niu Niang 牛娘 is Niu Lang’s long time sweetheart who is equally as loyal, diligent and hardworking as Niu Lang . Her name is a romanization of 牛娘 which literally means “Ox wife.”

This greeting says 牛能生巧 and wishes everyone to be as diligent as a cow will one day find their road to success.
